Type it how you'd actually say it

You don't have to phrase it carefully. Neither do your doctors.

These are real message patterns pAI understands today — shorthand, typos, and all. Nothing here is a script your doctors need to follow; it's the range of ordinary phrasing that already works.

Natural phrasing works here too — "has arrived", "reached the clinic", and plain status words are all understood, whether they come before or after the patient's name.

Follow-ups

Follow-up
Say a time and it books a real follow-up visit. Leave the time out and it sets a reminder instead — no calendar slot, just a nudge on your follow-ups list. Either way, it always confirms before touching anything.

Set a follow-up reminder for 17 August? ✓

Show more — the trickier phrasing we've specifically tested A running list of edge cases, typos, and messy real-world wording we've verified pAI handles correctly — not a script to follow, just proof of how much it already understands.

Typos & shorthand

  • 2mrw / tmrw / tmr → tomorrow, same as spelling it out
  • resedule → recognized as "reschedule"
  • cancle → recognized as "cancel"
  • day after tomorrow / next week same day → resolved correctly, no need to name the exact date
  • 01:50 PM → read as 1:50 in the afternoon, not misread as 1:50 AM
  • after 10 days / in 5 days → counted forward from today correctly

Patient names

  • Names that include a number, like Lucas 0502 → matched in full, never trimmed down to just "Lucas"
  • Two- or three-word names with the status word right after, like Grace Whitfield no show today → whole name and status both captured correctly
  • please note he has a fever (plain commentary, no name in it) → correctly asks which patient, instead of guessing a name out of the sentence
  • Picking one name out of a long list of similar matches (e.g. ten different patients all named "Lucas") → shows each match with phone/age to tell them apart (up to 15 at once), and remembers exactly which one you picked for the rest of that booking

Booking

  • book X with dr Foster 5 wednesday 4pm (a doctor whose name happens to contain a number) → still books for Wednesday, the doctor's name never gets read as part of the date
  • Book Emma tomorrow, I am done deciding, 5pm (a booking sentence with a status-sounding word buried in it) → still books, doesn't get misread as a check-in/status update
  • Mentioning a doctor who isn't real or isn't found, e.g. book X with Dr Nonexistent tomorrow 3pm → politely falls back to your default doctor with a note, never blocks the booking

Cancelling — verb variety

  • cancel, remove, drop, withdraw, cancle → all recognized as cancelling, and all correctly pick up the patient's name — not just the word "cancel"

Check-in & status

  • has reached the clinic → read as checked in
  • I reached out to Emma (contacting someone, not a clinic visit) → correctly NOT read as a check-in — "reached out" and "reached the clinic" are told apart
  • Status word before or after the name — mark X checked in and X has arrived → both understood the same way

Follow-ups

  • book follow up for X vs a plain book X tomorrow 5pm → only the explicit "follow up" wording ever starts this flow — an ordinary booking is never misread as one
  • A time given → books a real appointment on your calendar, tagged Follow-up on the card
  • No time given → sets a reminder only — no calendar slot, no conflict check, just shows up on your follow-ups list
  • cancel X's follow up → follow-up reminders can't be deleted, so this politely points you to mark it complete or change its date instead — it doesn't misread the patient's name as a fresh booking search
  • show follow ups for X → recognized the same as "X's follow ups"

Viewing your schedule

  • show my appointments for today (natural phrasing, no button needed) → understood the same as tapping "Today"
  • show appointments for X / X's appointments → narrows the list to just that one patient instead of your whole day
